 As a competitive swimming club it is our aim to develop swimming to the highest individual level possible and to encourage talented swimmers to progress through and by the age of 11, from the stroke development groups into the coaching section of the club.
There are stroke development groups 1 through to 6 and each group has specific aims and objectives which need to be achieved and on which you will be tested before you can progress to the next group.
Stroke Development sessions run on a Tuesday pm and
Sunday am at the Magnet.
- All club teachers are ASA qualified and CRB checked
- Parents and carers please do not stand on poolside during teaching sessions and do not approach your child’s teacher during the session. If you wish to speak to the teacher please wait until the session has finished.
- All children with long hair must have it tied back or wear a cap. Teaching group caps are available from the club shop.
- All children should have a pair of swimming goggles available to use should they need them.
- Please do not bring your child swimming if they have been ill within the last 24 hours.
- Please do not allow your child to swim in the teaching pool before the teaching sessions have started. You have not paid for them to swim and are not insured for their safety.
